New Year’s a time where you reminisce and maybe give a speech about how the year was. Then get drunk on champagne while watching fireworks and party! Right?
Yep. So here’s my New Years speech, I dedicate it to you. I like you.
A shit load (not real shit, just metaphorical shit) of thank yous goes out to fans of AlienMelon, and that means anyone who saw our work and thought something like “wawawewa, dis nice!”. We love to make you laugh, think, cry, get mad, throw chairs across the room, or feel all warm n’ snuggly in strange places.
Why? Because we’re green alien freaks who get kicks from manipulating your emotions. All our projects so far have been tests to see how far we can push our technology. I have to say *cries* It’s just awesome to see our plans of world domination work so smoothly. *sniffles*
In ‘07 we will push our plans further and manipulate your very minds! It’s something we’ve been looking forward too for a while. The most loyal of you will become our evil minions, and we’ll be one big happy space monarchy! ^.^
I’d also like to give Nathalie an entire universe full of “thank you” because without her endless hours of dedication and hard work AlienMelon wouldn’t even exist or be the wizz-bang blingy awesomeness it is, there wouldn’t be any cookies and most of all, thank you for being my kick ass big sister. Srly, omg!
I send a fluffy fleet of “thank you” to Daniel. For being the best second Lieutenant Commander space has ever known, defending our battalion from a fleet of giant man-eating mongooses, his mad spanner skillz, and being the smartest geekiest older brother I’ve ever met. I salute you!
Last, but definitely not least Milena and Larry, thank you for the sharp observations, critique, not giving up and making AlienMelon possible. Without Milena’s persistence AlienMelon would never have been born, without Larry working over time at his job we wouldn’t have a Spaceship. You’re the bestest parents in the whole wide sparkly universe!
